I am a Personal Trainer and nutrition coach who believes training is ‘Play with Purpose.’ I create fun, effective training programmes for professionals to transform their bodies and mindset with the goal that their improved wellbeing will have a positive impact in all areas of their personal and professional life.
I balance strength training with CrossFit style conditioning: A constant variety of Functional movements done at High Intensity. I use tried and tested S&C theory to lay a sound, resilient, foundation of strength, stability, mobility and flexibility. And for fitness and fun with function, CrossFit practices are an effective and motivating style of training. The variety, intensity and novelty of CrossFit are essential ingredients to epic workouts. Balancing these two styles creates a comprehensive, broad, inclusive fitness capable of anything and up for everything.
Strength and fitness are only possible if supported by the right nutrition and adequate recovery and sleep. We look at sustainable lifestyle changes that help you perform and recover.
It is said true freedom is ‘wanting to do what you ought to do’. My goal is to create an environment where we Play with Purpose. Whatever the purpose is; lose weight, become stronger, learn to lift, enter a competition… whatever it is; play and fun is at the heart of it. The process can be just as rewarding as the outcome.
To get started take advantage of my Out-Set package which includes a Consultation, Assessment and PT session for £120.00.
In the consultation we discuss your goals, training history, lifestyle, injuries and concerns.
We then have two sessions. The first is more of an assessment of movement literacy, coordination and strength. After which I will feed back if I think we need to add to your programme in terms of corrective exercises etc. We figure out where our start point is. Just as important we want to choose movements and exercises you love, or want to learn. We have a follow up session will be more of a training session where we go through a workout of your bespoke programme
