About Me
I’d like to think I am a jack of all trades and a master of some.
Over the last ten years I have been working as a PT in some of the best gyms in London, run a Corporate Wellbeing Programme for a well-known high-street brand and during Lockdown set up my personal training business.
What I have grown to love about the fitness industry is that it is constantly growing and evolving. The landscape is so much more diverse than it was ten years ago. It has been a highly rewarding and engaging experience keeping up with all these changes, constantly growing and expanding my understanding and practice of health and wellbeing for myself and my clients.
I have always enjoyed the practicality of my profession, seeing how different theories and practices improve my clients health and performance. Evolving is a much better word than changing. Age old and sound theories and principals are constantly being refined and improved upon as is reflected in my own evolving practice. And the proof is always in the practice.
As I pass my first decade as a Personal Trainer I have enjoyed learning by training with the best Powerlifters, Olympic Weightlifters and bodybuilders London has to offer while at the same time enjoying taking the conventional roots such as gaining my L1 Precision Nutrition, L4 Strength and Conditioning, L4 Nutrition Coaching, L1 and L2 FMS Corrective Exercise Strategies and L1 CrossFit certifications over the years.
Currently I am enjoying CrossFit and looking into Hyrox, as I find the variety, novelty and intensity of those forms of training incredibly effective and motivating. There is an enjoyment in learning new skills such as handstands, Muscle Ups and skipping. In February 2025 I took part in my first (of many) fitness competition and look forward to many more.
I do find it much easier to eat well and practice good recovery and sleep habits when I am enjoying my training and try and create that same environment for my clients.
No life is complete without a ball-sport, so tennis occupies that space, though I would love to take up hockey again.
